The registration process of aircraft in Malta, is quite simple and straightforward. Only a few documents are required in order to start the process. These include the following:

(i) Official Application Form;
(ii) Bill of Sale;
(iii) If the aircraft is leased, then the lease agreement has to accompany the other documents;
(iv) If the aircraft was registered under a different jurisdiction then a de-registration certificate is also required;
(v) If there are any mortgages, these have to be registered as well.
