Legal Associates
Chetcuti Cauchi currently has a
number of openings for legal associates wishing to join our team within our core
areas of practice.
Suitable candidates for these positions will be ambitious
team-players willing to work as part of a team of professionals within a dynamic
environment. Proficiency in the latest MS Office applications coupled with a
highly organised character and the ability to work on own initiative and with
minimal supervision are essential for each position.
We are interested in lawyers with a
minimum of two years’ experience in one of the following areas of
specialisation:
Financial Services Lawyer [Ref. 11507]
The Financial Services Lawyer will join the firm’s existing
team of lawyers providing advisory services to a variety of business clients
including fund management companies, insurers and financial advisory firms.
Daily responsibilities will centre around the provision of advice and assistance
to financial services operators with respect to:

the obtainment of regulatory authorisations for
investment services providers, insurance principals and intermediaries,
collective investment schemes, financial institutions and credit
institutions;

the structuring of appropriate corporate vehicles; and
-
the ongoing aspects of their operation from a Maltese
regulatory and legal perspective.
A strong interest in financial services legislation is
considered essential for this position. Preference will be given to candidates
with prior experience in a similar position.
