Legal Fees & Charging Method for Legal Services

Before taking on new clients, the firm will undertake a conflicts check to ensure that there are no professional reasons why we cannot act.  Assuming no conflict exists, all clients will be asked to sign an engagement letter. This letter sets out both the level of service that the firm provides and the basis upon which you will be charged for our work.

The majority of our legal work is charged for on a fixed fee basis quoted in advance.  Some projects may be difficult to fully assess at the outset and therefore the estimated fixed fee will cover a number of hours of work.  Work over and above that time will be charged on an hourly basis in fee notes sent at the end of each month. Rates vary depending on the seniority and experience of the lawyer or consultant involved.

For more information on fees please speak to your CC lawyer or email us at your convenience.
