Practice

Matthew works within the Corporate Law department providing legal and regulatory advice on corporate law, officer responsibilities and liabilities. Together with the Tax department he also provides advice related to corporate tax structures. In addition Matthew is currently responsible for the development of the Employment & Labour Law department which provides advice to both employers and employees.

Professional Experience

Matthew has assisted in the provision of corporate services to a multitude of companies in the firms portfolio, which offer a variety of services. He has also provided advice on Corporate Law regarding various matters including the creation of joint ventures, liquidations, sales and acquisitions as well as the legal responsibilities of company officers. He has also actively participated in the transferring and leasing of property and company assets as well as various matters related to Employment.

Legal Research

"An analysis of some of the salient legal issues arising out of the recent Price Club cases.", (2009)


Matthew's doctoral thesis explores the main legal points that arose out of these landmark local cases and the innovative approach taken by the Court in these cases. Matthew's thesis focuses on the issues of Fraudulent Trading, the Group of Companies and the Lifting of the Corporate Veil
