Legal Research

‘An analysis of the proposed reform to the law of lease in the light of the current legislative framework’. 2009.

Kezia’s doctoral thesis studies the developments and subsequent proposals to amend the law of lease. Judgments delivered by the Maltese Courts form the backbone of this academic study, which analysed the White Paper, the Bill and the resulting Act. These judgments were used to highlight the inadequacy and injustice that ensued as a result of the legislative framework which was in force for decades.
