'Combating Counterfeiting and Piracy - A lost cause ?' (2009)

In her doctoral thesis, Ruth addressed the increasing global phenomenon of counterfeiting and piracy. She addressed the various problems which such phenomena pose, and provided a critical analysis of the laws which are available to combat counterfeiting and piracy. The thesis provides counter-measures aimed at combating effectively counterfeiting and piracy, and proves that by virtue of sound laws and efficient enforcement measures, combating counterfeiting and piracy is not a lost cause.
