Chetcuti Cauchi currently has openings for legal secretaries and executive secretaries to join the firm’s secretariat.

Executive Secretaries

Responsibilities include office administration, call-taking, reception duties, filing and basic book-keeping as well as general assistance to the professional members of the team.  Legal secretaries at CCA are also involved in client relations and in supporting a portfolio of local and foreign clients.

Applicants should be fluent in English and at least one additional language and should ideally possess an MCAST or higher qualification.  Candidates should be proficient in the use of MS Office and should possibly have a working knowledge of accounting and of accounting packages.  The right candidate should be highly organised and should demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative.

Previous experience in a financial services or legal environment is an asset.

Legal Secretaries

This dynamic role within the Legal Team, involves the successful candidate in administrative support of the lawyers across the firm. Duties will involve assistance in the drafting of legal and statutory documentation, updating client files and other ad-hoc administration duties. Applications are particularly sought from individuals with experience within the legal sector.

Candidates should be fluent in English and at least one additional language and should ideally possess a tertiary qualification or have previous experience in a similar role. Candidates should be proficient in the use of MS Office and having a working knowledge of accounting and of accounting packages would be an asset. The right candidate should be highly organised and should demonstrate the ability to work on own initiative.
